Paul Turnham

BSc (Hons) Bldg Cons
Director, Buckinghamshire branch

After over 18 years in the construction industry, many of those as Director of a successful building company, his interest in historic buildings led him into building conservation.

He joined the Building Conservation Technology BSc (Hons) degree course at Bournemouth University set up by Professor John Ashurst and gained first class honours.

His great experience and knowledge were assets that were highly prized by John Ward & Co and he joined Ward & Co. soon after it was set up in 1995. Since that time he has been involved in every aspect of the business and is a key person in the success of Ward & Co. When the company was incorporated in 2000 it was natural that he should become a Director.

He lives in Buckinghamshire and in 2001 set up the Buckinghamshire branch of Ward & Co. Projects have included 173 High Street, Berkhamsted (proved to be the oldest known timber framed property in the County), St Birinus Dorchester, St Thomas, East Shefford, Barton Court Ruins Abingdon, Coleshill Hen House and Pigsty, St John the Baptist Inglesham, Worcester College Oxford, History of Science Museum Oxford.
