After 18 years in the construction industry, many of those as Director of a successful building company, his interest in historic buildings led him into building conservation.
His great experience and knowledge were assets highly prized, and he joined Ward & Co soon after it was set up in 1995. Since that time he has been involved in every aspect of the business and is a key person in the success of the business. He was appointed as Director in 2000 when the business was incorporated.
Projects include: 173 High Street, Berkhamsted, the earliest known jettied timber framed property in the county, St Birinus Church, Dorchester, Blenheim Palace, Barton Court Ruins, Abingdon, Worcester College, Oxford, History of Science Museum, Oxford.
