William Morris Fellowship
We are delighted to announce that Karl Grevatt, a carpenter working from our Buckingham -shire base, has been awarded a place on this year’s world renowned SPAB Craft Fellowship. He will be joined by two masons from Scotland for the nine month intensive building conservation course. Fellowship alumni can be found working at the highest level in building conservation.
Recent Major Tenders Won
Major projects won in recent months include substantial conservation at Basildon Park and Greys Court, both for The National Trust. Just starting are repairs to Elmore Court following flood damage, and plaster and masonry repairs to The Rotunda at Croome Landscape Park.
Theatre Royal, Bristol
We have recently undertaken two phases of investigative work in the auditoria of Britain’s oldest working theatre in preparation for major renovation. The work has involved the careful unravelling of the gallery pew fronts and moulded pilasters under strict time constraints.
